Above the cellars of the Il Borro estate a new room with fifty watercolors of mine has recently been added to the Vino & Arte’ gallery, which exhibits Ferruccio Ferragamo’s private collection of engravings. It is a series of views of the various terrains that make up the estate, its farmhouses and its vineyards, captured with meticulous skill in every season of the year.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cA newfound vitality of this special kind of image is demonstrated today by the cabrei painted by Paquito Forster, which are at the center of the exhibition and the book. Son of two artists, Forster brings together agronomic expertise and creative talent, so as to reinterpret the ancient form of visual testimony by introducing original elements: views of villages, interiors of cellars, birds and fruit embossed in the foreground, without thereby neglecting heraldic blazons and noble calligraphic exercises. In the difficult and demanding watercolor technique, Forster revives ancient descriptive codes and interpolates new ones and all of his, dosing the relationship between the chromatic layers and the white of the paper, the full and empty, the thick and thin. Interestingly, this contemporary creation responds to the demand of clients who are themselves fully immersed in the contemporary world, who, while managing the land and its products using the most advanced techniques and technologies, guarantee the continuity of ancient and illustrious traditions.\u201d<\/p>
